Only 48 hrs to GO …
WOOHOO!!! Fully funded and on our last 48 hours! We’d like to take this opportunity to THANK you all in advance of our campaign completion for your support, pledges, and comments.

We recently updated the bottom of our campaign page with the BackerKit logo, but we also wanted to call it out in this update so you understand what it is. BackerKit is a company that simplifies all of the complexities of surveys, fulfillment, pre-orders, etc…from Kickstarter and delivers it to both the creators (that’s us) and the backers (that’s you) in a slick and easy to use interface. So rest assured that when it’s time to send you the surveys to confirm your backing tiers, any upgrades you took advantage of, shipping info, etc…we’ll be working with a reputable company that’s experienced with these sorts of things.

Less Than a Week To Go !!!

We’ve reached the final stretch of our campaign with less than a week to go!!! We’re super excited that we reached our goal and are looking forward to delivering these awesome new products to all of you very soon.
It's been an exciting few days since we unlocked our USB Stretch Goal and the response has been amazing. About 30% of our backers have already upgraded their pledges to the USB version, and we’ve had a bunch of new backers join us directly through the new USB tiers. We’re excited to see that our backers love this feature as much as we do. We’d love to hit our second stretch goal and unlock colored face-plates as well (which will be a free upgrade for you), so keep helping us spread the word!
Because it’s always fun seeing real physical things in these updates we want to leave you with some pictures of the USB prototype that we received last week.

Update #4: The Half Way Point!!!

Hello Everyone,
We are ecstatic that we’ve reached over 80% of our funding goal at
the half way point!
To date, we have had over 36 publications writing about us,
we’ve been contacted by major hotel chains that want theOUTlet in their hotels;
we are working on launching an EU version of theOUTlet after our campaign, and
expanding our certifications into Japan.The momentum, acceptance and support have been nothing short of
staggering, so with that, to our update...
- 1) At Retail, theOUTlet will
sell for $39.99 and $49.99 (4 plug and 4 plug w/2 USB’s).That means on Kickstarter, we are
selling them for between a 25% and 40% discount to our backers.
- 2) The USB Prototype is COMPLETE, and we’re nearly ready
to start manufacturing!!!!Soooo
Exciting!!!!
- 3) We will be posting a
Backers Only Update “theOUTlet Bowl Special” Friday night around midnight,
so stay tuned for a SUPER opportunity for our Backers … to thank them for
their early support.
- 4) We’ve had lots of questions
on installation, so here are some images of the back of theOUTlet and
theOUTlet installed into an 18 cu in box. We have made theOUTlet SUPER simple to
install.
