Hello Backers!
We wanted to share news that theOUTlet is officially available on Amazon.com and Lowes.com. We're working with additional retailers to continue to gain placement as well. This is of course exciting for us and is an important next step with "kickstarting" our business.
Now that we're live on some retail sites it is crucial that we start building reviews so that we don't get filtered out of search results before we get a chance to tell our story. With this in mind we're reaching out once more to ask for your help.
We're hoping that you will visit the sites below and leave reviews for the product(s) you purchased. If you are open to leaving reviews on both sites it would be appreciated. Also, if your review includes pictures and/or video it makes them that much more powerful.

Hello Backers!
Believe it or not the wait is over... theOUTlet is officially being shipped to all of our backers! Shipping started on Friday and will be complete later today. Once we have all tracking info we will send out via BackerKit. That being said, we've already gotten confirmation from several backers that they have received their orders and are thrilled with how they came out (images below).
We realize that the timeline for delivery of theOUTlet was a little longer...ok A LOT longer...than what we were originally shooting for. We sincerely appreciate the amount of patience and support you have all shown. We've learned quite a bit about being a startup company and some of the challenges that larger companies may not face on a daily basis.
This will be our final post on Kickstarter now that we have successfully fulfilled all orders. As a thank you to all of you we have generated a discount code on our website (www.opentheoutlet.com) for 15% off if you'd like to share with your friends and family. The code is simply "theOUTlet" without the quotes and is good between 9/1/20 and 12/1/20.
We'd also love if you would share your experiences (hopefully all extremely positive :) ) on social media and tag us. You can always reach us either through those channels or via our website and emails.

In Production!

Hello Backers!
The day we've all been waiting for is right around the corner now. We are officially in production with theOUTlet and that much closer to getting them into your hands!
We have 7,500 units in production now which is the negotiated Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) with our factory. The factory is targeting having all units ready to ship from their facility and loaded into shipping containers by the end of the month. Then the product will be in the supply chain process for roughly 30 days. At that point all that has to happen is sorting and shipping them from our US distribution center (DC) to all of our backers. The company we've hired as our supply chain partner will manage the entire process from picking product up at the factory to storing in their US DC, to getting them to your individual door steps. So we aren't packing and shipping these out of our garages :)
